Look, we get it - nobody actually enjoys reading privacy policies. But here at RuneForge Quest Architecture, we're pretty serious about keeping your information safe. We've been designing buildings that stand the test of time since we started, and we approach your data with the same care we'd give to selecting foundation stones for a heritage restoration.
This policy explains what info we collect, why we need it, and how we're gonna protect it. We've tried to keep the legalese to a minimum because honestly, life's too short for that stuff.
When you reach out to us or use our website, we might collect:
We're not gonna sell your info to random marketing companies - that's not our style. Here's what we actually do with it:
Yeah, we use cookies - and no, not the delicious kind. Our website uses small data files to remember your preferences and help us understand which pages people actually look at. If you're not cool with that, most browsers let you disable cookies, though some parts of the site might get a bit wonky.
We don't use any creepy tracking stuff that follows you around the internet. Our analytics are pretty basic - just enough to know if anyone's actually reading our heritage project case studies.
We protect your data like we'd protect the original blueprints of a 12th-century structure. That means encrypted connections, secure servers, and limited access to your information. Only team members who actually need to see your info for your project can access it.
That said, no system is 100% bulletproof. We do our best, but if you're sending super sensitive stuff, maybe give us a call instead of emailing it.
We keep your info pretty close to the chest. The only times we'd share it:
We've got agreements with all our partners to make sure they respect your privacy too.
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, if you're into acronyms), you've got some rights:
To exercise any of these rights, just shoot us an email at contact@runeforgequest.info or give us a call.
We don't hoard data forever. For active projects, we'll keep everything until the work's done and the final invoices are settled. After that, we keep project files for about seven years - that's standard practice in our industry and helps if you need references for future work.
If you just sent an inquiry but never moved forward, we'll typically clear that out after about three years. Marketing contact lists get cleaned up regularly too.
Our website might link to other sites - supplier portfolios, heritage organizations, that sort of thing. Once you click away from our site, this privacy policy doesn't apply anymore. We try to only link to reputable places, but you should check their privacy policies too.
Our services aren't really aimed at kids under 13. We don't knowingly collect info from children. If you're a parent and think we've got data from your kid, let us know and we'll delete it right away.
We might update this policy from time to time - especially if laws change or we add new services. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and post a notice on our homepage for a bit. For major changes, we'll probably send an email to folks on our contact list.
We're based in Vancouver, and most of our data stays in Canada. However, some of our cloud services might store data on servers in other countries. When that happens, we make sure those providers meet Canadian privacy standards.
